RIAA: Whitney Houston's "The Bodyguard" Soundtrack Certified 19x Platinum + 10 Platinum/Multi-Platinum Singles Certifications

 

The legendary Whitney Houston earns 11 new Platinum and Multi-Platinum Albums and Singles certifications in the U.S. by the Recording Industry Assocation of America (RIAA).

1992's The Bodyguard Original Motion Picture Soundtrack has been certified 19x Platinum. It's leadoff single "I Will Always Love You" is certified 11x Platinum and subsequent singles "I Have Nothing" is certified 4x Platinum and "Run to You" certified Platinum.

Other singles from Houston's career such as "Saving All My Love for You" from her 1985 self-titled debut album Whitney Houston is 2x certified and "How Will I Know" is certified 3x Platinum. 

"I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)" from her 1987 album Whitney is certified 8x Platinum.

"Count On Me" from Houston's 1995 Waiting to Exhale Original Motion Picture Soundtrack featuring CeCe Winans has been certified Platinum.

Singles from her 1998 album My Love Is Your Love such as "My Love Is Your Love" & "Heartbreak Hotel" featuring Faith Evans & Kelly Price are both certified 2x Platinum.

And "Higher Love" which was originally included on the Japanese edition of Houston's third studio album I'm Your Baby Tonight was revamped and remixed by Kygo in 2019 and is certified 3x Platinum.
