Written by Syleena Johnson and produced by Iamdangerboi-Church Boy Scotty & Toxic for Toxic Production, "Watching Over" follows Johnsons previous singles ""Different Strokes", "Black Balloon" ft. Syl Johnson and "Monsters in the Closet", all which appears on her twelfth overall album Legacy.
