This Dallas Austin-produced song was released as the lead single from Cox’s self-titled debut album. It became a top 5 R&B hit peaking at No. 4.

04 SAME SCRIPT, DIFFERENT CAST DUET WITH WHITNEY HOUSTON

Cox teamed up with legendary and Pop icon Whitney Houston for Whitney’s first-ever compilation album, Whitney: The Greatest Hits. While the song was released as a radio-only single and no video was made, it managed to peak at No. 14 on the R&B chart and No. 4 on the Dance chart.

03 WHO DO U LOVE

This groovy uptempo standout cut was released as the second single from Cox’s self-titled debut album, becoming the first of 13 No. 1 Dance hits throughout her career.

02 WE CAN’T BE FRIENDS DUET WITH R.L. OF NEXT

Released as the third single from One Wish in the Fall of 1999, Cox’s dynamic signature duet with R.L. held the No. 1 spot on the R&B chart for two-weeks and became a top 10 Billboard Hot 100 hit at No. 8.

01 NOBODY’S SUPPOSED TO BE HERE

Deborah Cox’s breakthrough single from her sophomore album One Wish. This song further solidified her as one of the greatest vocal powerhouses of our time.
