Sy'Rai who is the daughter of Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and actress Brandy has released her new single entitled "On My Own" to digital music and streaming platforms.
Written by Sy'Rai, Eric Bellinger and Jaysen Stewart and produced by Keyz Bridgez and Jared "ReezyTunes" Thorne, the uplifting track serves as the lead single from Sy'Rai's upcoming untitled debut EP which will be Vocal Produced and Executive Produced by Brandy.
In a statement about her music, Sy'Rai says:
"The themes in my music will be more mature and people won't be ready to see me as an adult as I go through real stuff."
Sy'Rai appears on MTV's five-episode series Family Legacy, narrated by actor and music artist Quincy Brown and feature the children of legendary music artists and bands including Linkin Park, Van Halen, Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Boyz II Men, TLC, Biggie Smalls, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Brandy and Melissa Etheridge as they revisit the highlight of their parents' careers and give us a look at what it was like to grow up behind-the-scenes.
