Joe's "My Name Is Joe" Album turns 20


20 years ago on this day R&B Singer, songwriter JOE released his critically acclaimed third album My Name Is Joe via Jive Records.

The three-time Platinum album peaked at No. 1 and No. 2 on Billboard's R&B and Hot 200's Album charts respectively and featured production from Joe, Tim & Bob, Steve "Stone" Huff, Tony Nicholas, Allen "Allstar" Gordon, She'kspere & Teddy Riley.

My Name Is Joe produced the Gold-selling single "Stutter" which topped both Billboard's Hot 100's and R&B singles charts, "I Wanna Know" which peaked at No. 4 and No. 2 on Billboard's Hot 100's and R&B singles charts respectively and "Treat Her Like A Lady".

The album would go on to be nominated for two Grammys: Best R&B Album and Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for "I Wanna Know".
