The couple share two children, daughter Imani Shekinah Knox and son Elijah Alexander Knox.

At the tender age of 11, singer, model and actress Tracie Spencer got her first taste of stardom when she won the junior vocalist competition on the television show Star Search and became the youngest artist to sign a contract with Capitol Records. Soon after, she released her self-titled 1988 debut album which includes the hit single "Symptoms of True Love".

In 1990, Spencer released her follow-up album Make the Difference featuring her top 5 Billboard hits "This House" and "Tender Kisses".

Since then, Tracie appeared on the hit ABC sitcom Family Matters as well as commercials, modeling and released her third album Tracie in 1999.
