AFTER 7 which originally consisted of brothers Melvin & Kevon Edmonds and Keith Mitchell released their Platinum-selling self-titled debut album 30 years ago on this day via Virgin Records.

The album peaked at No. 5 on the R&B chart and includes the No. 1 R&B singles, "Ready or Not" and "Can't Stop", both peaking at No. 7 and No. 6 on the Billboard Pop chart respectively, plus the singles, "Heat of the Moment" & "Don't Cha' Think".
