The Isley Brothers Honored with Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

The Legendary Isley Brothers were honored with the 2,834th star today in Los Angeles on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The ceremony featured guest speakers such as Terry Lewis (of the iconic songwriting and production duo Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis) and Sony Music Publishing CEO Jon Platt.

The group is celebrated for pioneering hits like "Shout", "Twist & Shout", "It's Your Thing", "Fight the Power", "Between the Sheets", "Contagious", to name a few.

New Album: The Isley Brothers - "Make Me Say It Again, Girl"

The Legendary Isley Brothers have released their 33rd overall studio album Make Me Say It Again, Girl in their illustrious career via Ronald Isley's imprint label RI Top Ten.

The 14-track album features guest appearances by Snoop Dogg, Trey Songz, Quavo, Takeoff, Rick Ross, Earth Wind & Fire, El DeBarge, 2 Chainz and Beyonce whose featured on the current Billboard No. 1 Adult R&B title-track "Make Me Say It Again, Girl".

And to celebrate the release of the album, The Isley Brothers will make an appearance at INKwell Harbor Club Rooftop in NYC today (September 30th). Tickets are available HERE

The Isley Brothers Unveils Artwork for Upcoming 33rd Studio Album "Make Me Say It Again, Girl"

Grammy Award-winning pioneering group The Isley Brothers (Ronald, Ernie Isley) took to social media to unveil the official artwork for their upcoming 33rd studio album Make Me Say It Again, Girl in their illustrious musical career arriving September 30th via Ron's R.I. Top Ten label.

While there's no official tracklist yet, it's been reported that the Legendary group will collaborate with Alicia Keys, Drake, Rick Ross, Trey Songz as well as Snoop Dogg who appears on the lead single "Friends & Family" and Beyonce on an updated version of their 1975 classic "Make Me Say It Again, Girl" which has reached the top 10 on Billboard's Adult R&B chart.

Classic Vybez: The Isley Brothers ft. Angela Winbush, 112 & Lil' Kim - Floatin' On Your Love (Bad Boy Mix)

THE ISLEY BROTHERS returned to the Hot 100’s as a group with the original “Floatin’ On Your Love” single in 1996 which features Ron Isley’s then-wife R&B songstress Angela Winbush from their Platinum album Mission to Please. A remix was issued with the help of Stevie J. and Diddy on production featuring an all-star line up; Winbush, Lil’ Kim, 112 and Kelly Price who assisted on background vocals.

 

This Bad Boy mix was significant in popularizing Ron Isley amongst the 90’s generation as “Mr. Biggs”.
