New Video: Janelle Monáe - Crazy, Classic, Life

 

Janelle Monáe who released her third studio LP Dirty Laundry in April of this year has unveiled the visual to her latest single, "Crazy, Classic, Life" which co-stars Tessa Thompson.

 

 

"Crazy, Classic, Life" follows after Janelle's No. 1 Urban A/C hit, "I Like That".

 

Dirty Computer was nominated last week for Album of the Year at the 2019 Grammy Awards. Monáe’s video for the single “Pynk,” also featuring Thompson, was nominated for Best Music Video.

New Video: Janelle Monáe - “Pynk”

Grammy-nominated R&B/Soul artist Janelle Monae has released the third single/visual “Pynk” from her forthcoming third full length album Dirty Computer due April 27.

“Pynk” follows after the singles “Make Me Feel” and “Django Jane”. Dirty Computer is set to be released on Monae’s own label Wondaland Records which she has been building over the past few years.

Monae classifies Dirty Computer as an emotional picture, “a narrative film and accompanying the musical album”.

Janelle Monáe took to social media today to announce her upcoming third studio album Dirty Computer. Monáe has been very present over the past few years with building her Wondaland Records, her roles in award-winning films Hidden Figures and Moonlight, as well as in Amazon's Electric Dreams. However, it's been nearly five years since the release of her Electric Lady album. Monáe classifies Dirty Computer as an emotion picture, "a narrative film and accompanying the musical album." The trailer features Janelle Monáe alongside actress and friend Tessa Thompson.

It's been reported that Dirty Computer trailers are set to play in theaters before the screening of Marvels Black Panthers. Check out the trailer for Dirty Computer below!
