Missy Elliott, The First Female Hip-Hop Artist, Inducted Into The Songwriters Hall Of Fame


With a successful career that spans over twenty years, Missy ‘Misdemeanor’ Elliott is getting her just due by being inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. 

Outside of her discography, Missy Elliott has penned hits for the likes of 702, Aaliyah, Total, Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, Fantasia, TLC, and more.  


The 2019 Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on June 13th, in New York City.
