New Album: Chaka Khan - Hello Happiness

Grammy winner and Queen of Funk CHAKA KHAN returns with her first new album in 12 years entitled, Hello Happiness via Diary Records.

The 7-track project features the singles "Like Sugar" and follow-up title track for which she recently released the visuals:

Production for the album is handled by Switch's Major Lazer and Sarah Ruba Taylor.

In support of the album, Khan and Michael McDonald will co-headline a tour this Summer. Complete info can be found HERE!

Grammy Award-winner & Queen of Funk CHAKA KHAN has released her Sam Pilling directed visual for "Hello Happiness".

"Hello Happiness" serves as Khan's second single (the first being "Like Sugar"), from her upcoming first album of the same-name in 12 years since 2007's Funk This and arrives February 12th via  Diary Records, the new label co-founded by Major Lazer member and Grammy-nominated producer Switch.

New Music: Chaka Khan - Hello Happiness

Grammy Award-winning trailblazer and vocal legend CHAKA KHAN kicks off the New Year with her latest single "Hello Happiness".

The dance-oriented track is the lead single from Khan's upcoming new album of the same name via Diary/Island Records.

Khan will perform the single today (January 1) at the 130th annual Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, California presented by Honda.

The traditional new year event will start at 8am local time and continue until midday.

"Hello Happiness" is Khan's first offering of new music since last year's "Like Sugar".
