Lloyd Announces the "Unplugged" Tour

R&B Singer-songwriter LLOYD has announced his upcoming 'Unplugged' tour for the Fall to support his latest album, Tru.

The seven-city 'Unplugged' tour kicks off October 23rd in New York and will make stops in other major cities such as Washington D.C., Atlanta & Chicago before wrapping up in Los Angeles, CA on November 17th.

New Album: Lloyd - ‘Tru’

R&B Vet and Singer/Songwriter Lloyd has released his new album Tru which follows after his 2016 5-song EP of the same name. Tru includes 7 additional songs and features guest appearances from Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Curren$y, Sevyn Streeter & Khujo Goodie.

On the album, Lloyd says:

“I wanted to put a lot of soul into it, you know? Kind of comparing music to food, I would say the goal was to stay as far away from fast food as possible and to focus on soul food. Definitely a lot of humanizing moments for me as an artist and as a man. Just talking about family, talking about the loss of loved ones, and now that I’m experiencing fatherhood, I’m kind of talking about that as well.”

New Music: Lloyd ‘Caramel’ + Announces Forthcoming ‘Tru’ LP

In 2016, R&B singer-songwriter Lloyd released his Tru EP which featured the Billboard R&B hit title track of the same name. Lloyd returns with “Caramel”, an upbeat offering in which the crooner details escapades with a woman reminiscent of the song title.

“Caramel” serves as the lead single from Lloyd’s full-length Tru album due August 31.
