THE ISLEY BROTHERS returned to the Hot 100’s as a group with the original “Floatin’ On Your Love” single in 1996 which features Ron Isley’s then-wife R&B songstress Angela Winbush from their Platinum album Mission to Please. A remix was issued with the help of Stevie J. and Diddy on production featuring an all-star line up; Winbush, Lil’ Kim, 112 and Kelly Price who assisted on background vocals.

 

This Bad Boy mix was significant in popularizing Ron Isley amongst the 90’s generation as “Mr. Biggs”.

Bad Boy’s First Lady of R&B, Faith Evans who just tied the knot with longtime producer Stevie J. have unveiled their latest collaborative visual, “A Minute”, which is the lead single from their upcoming duet project. The video finds the happily married couple’s bedroom intimacy and showing their love for one another.

Last week, Faith Evans performed in London at Indigo O2 and will be honored at this year’s Black Music Honors Awards on August 16th in Nashville.
