Grammy Award-winning R&B Songstress INDIA.ARIE has announced her latest single "Steady Love" which comes courtesy of her recently released 8th overall project Worthy.

 

 

Co-written by India.Arie and Produced by Aaron Lindsey, "Steady Love" follows after the singles "What If" and "That Magic" and has made it's debut at No. 28 on the Adult R&B chart this week.

New Album: India.Arie - 'Worthy'

Grammy Award-winning R&B songstress INDIA.ARIE has dropped her seventh overall album entitled, Worthy via SoulBird.

Production for the 16-song collection is handled by longtime collaborators Shannon Sanders and Branden Burch as well as new collaborator Chuck Butler and executive produced by Aaron Lindsey.

On the album, Arie explains:

“My favorite definition of the word ‘worthy’ is deserving of regard and respect. The songs on this album implicitly or explicitly carry the message and the energy of the word ‘worthy,’ because all parts of me are worthy. I set out with the title even before I had the song, which is unusual for me, but I wanted to remind people that even though the world ordains that you have to ‘do’ or ‘be’ something to be ‘worthy,’ that’s not true. The truth is there is nothing special we have to do or be, we all are worthy once we arrive at that realization. A person who feels empowered in that way is a much more powerful force in this world.”
