New Album: Mario Releases Sixth Studio LP "Glad You Came"

Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Mario has released his sixth studio album Glad You Came to all streaming and digital music platforms via his independent label imprint New Citizen and Epic Records.

Executive Produced by James Fauntleroy, the 13-track album includes the singles "Space", "Glad You Came" and "Keep Going Aaaaahhhhh)".

Mario is set to embark on the For My Fans 2025 Tour alongside Mary J. Blige & Ne-Yo.

As well as his European Tour in support of his album Glad You Came with Special Guest Eric Bellinger.

Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Mario took to social media to announce his upcoming sixth studio album Glad You Came on December 13th via his independent label imprint New Citizen/Epic Records.

The album is led by the single "Space".

Mario is set to embark on the For My Fans 2025 Tour alongside Mary J. Blige & Ne-Yo.

Originally released late last year as a solo track, Mario took to social media to say:

Grammy nominated R&B Singer-songwriter Mario delivers his latest romantic ballad "Luxury Love" across all streaming platforms.

About the song, Mario adds: 

“When people think of the word luxury they normally think of materialistic and extravagant gifts. With ‘Luxury Love,’ I wanted to highlight that the act of love is the luxury itself. Whatever your love language is, express that. Luxury is an experience. It’s the outward expression of that language. A consistent ode to that language.”

“I’m excited about this project, but I’m more excited about the journey that I’m on right now as an artist. I recently found out that the name “Mario” actually means Mars in Latin and this current time period that we’re in is the closest our planet has been to Mars in over 20 years, so it just amazes me as to how my intentions match the times we are in. I’ve always used metaphors and creative phrases in my lyrical expression. Now I’m beginning to dive deeper into the cinematic and directorial part of my expression. I co-directed both “Mars” and “Pretty Mouth Magic,” and I hope the world enjoys them.”

New Music: Mario - Dancing Shadows

Back in July, Grammy-nominated R&B singer/songwriter Mario released the single and visual to “Drowning” which serves as the official lead single from his upcoming fifth LP Dancing Shadows, followed by “Girl Like You” and “Dangerous (Remix)”.

Today Mario released “Dancing Shadows” the second offering from the project of the same name across all download and streaming platforms.

The album Dancing Shadows is due October 5th and will be the singer’s first album in nine years and the first as an independent artist courtesy of his own label New Citizen.
